About Me.

My name is Louise Wallace, I'm a recent filmmaking graduate with practical experience in producing and production support across short films, music videos, TV and documentary projects.

 

My passion for filmmaking began within a small independent cinema in my hometown in Kent. I would sit in those red velvet seats, captivated by how a room full of strangers could share the same emotions and connect for a short while. There is nothing quite like the power of film, and that magic is what continues to inspire me.​

 

During my studies, I worked on over 25 productions ranging from independent short films and documentaries to music videos, commercials, and TV shorts. I focused on producing, from managing budgets and documentation for a mini-series and overseeing a cast and crew of more than 45 people, to producing short films and live music sets at one of the world’s oldest-running film studios.​

 

In addition to my production work, my leadership roles as Student Vice President at MetFilm School and Head Girl of Dover College strengthened my organisational, communication, and writing abilities, from coordinating campus events and representing the student body to delivering speeches and public addresses at open days and contests.
